I got to see this doctor in last November-2021. By talking I found that he convinces me that I have disease. ** ** ** **** *********** ******* **** he had given me ANTI-DEPRESSENT Tablets to take for arthritis. *** **** ****** ** ****** *** ***** **** ********* **** *** ********* **** **** **** **** ** ***** ***** ****** ** ****** ***** So always see which type of medicine they give. Not recommended at all. Dont fall prey

My brother Sidhartha went to the doctor, he had fever and cough and joint pain. In past he had some accident. The moment doctor came to know about cough and fever. He didn't listen anything else and asked for covid test. I understand in this pandemic we all should be careful and this can be doctor one of the first step to look into the patient case but the way my brother got treated was unacceptable. Didn't ask any other arithiritis question

By the way my brother's covid test was negative.

Dr. Bodhisatwa Choudhuri replied

Let me make few things clear at the very beginning - if a patients comes to chamber of any doctor with symptoms of fever, cough, joint pain (all typical symptoms of Covid) during this pandemic, it is the basic duty of that doctor to test for the disease, as advised by Indian Govt & ICMR guidelines. I have seen more than 1000 covid patients and I know how much prevalent this disease, even with minimal of symptoms. Regarding the part that I have not listened to your brothers arthritis related queries, that is a blatant lie and I have a copy of your prescription to prove it. All his symptoms as mentioned by him , including his past arthritis history were mentioned in the prescription clearly. My provisional diagnosis was also Axial spondyloarthritis as mentioned in the prescription. I also advised him investigations related to arthritis apart from a Covid RT-PCR test, all mentioned clearly in the prescription. He was given medication for his pain & arthritis as well. As I can vividly recall, I told him to come back to me with all reports, so that we can confirm the diagnosis and proceed with the treatment. But sadly he never came back. Its really good news that your bother was Covid negative, it could have been very easy to do the other investigations and continue his treatment. But he chose not do that and that's entirely is own decision. But claiming that I do not listen to complains of my patients is a lie. My others patients will vouch for me in this regard and surely my prescription given to your brother, mentioning all his arthritis related details will prove what I am saying. Have a good day... I hope your brother a healthy life.
