This is a personal chamber of Dr Susmit Naskar , Orthopaedic -Spine Surgeon . Dr. Susmit Naskar - a full-time Spine surgeon amongst a very few practising in Eastern India. Spine surgery is the most technically demanding branch of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery. Dr Susmit grew interested in this vital stream of medicine while studying his masters in Orthopedics from Mumbai. During his two year long fellowship at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital, Dr Susmit learned complex spine surgical techniques.Yet, staying close to the limelight wasn�t his idea of fulfilment. He has always wanted to come back to his home state West Bengal and contribute to its orthopaedic tradition. His endeavour has been to introducing his expertise of modern spine techniques. He has completed prestigious Fellowships with renowned hospitals in America, Germany and South Korea to stay abreast of international techniques and ethics of spine surgery. Having his taste of the international medical trends, he firmly believes that in this age of global-local, it is possible to bring world class treatment to the patients of the Eastern region, who travel to different cities or countries, otherwise, for treatment. At present, he is a full time consultant with Narayana Health, Howrah famous for its avant garde treatment and care facilities to Orthopedics patients.
