Mind Care Clinic

Mind Care Clinic is one of the premier Psychiatric Clinic in Kolkata with all facilities for Psychological Counselling, Marriage Counselling, and Drug abuse detoxification available in Kolkata. It started purely as a self-supported private organization in the year 2002, with one psychiatrist and one psychologist. Gradually it increased to 6 members when other psychologists joined the clinic.A day care unit was started where children and adults with behavioral problems and other psychological difficulties came, they were engaged in various educational tasks, play activities and developmental programs for their overall benefit. The psychologists mainly supervised this unit. As the clinic started to progress in a positive manner Yoga therapy and meditation were introduced mainly to the psychiatric patients to alleviate anxiety symptoms.A psychiatric social worker joined us who made home visits for those patients who were unable to attend the clinic. Presently, in 2015 it has come a long way with a few changes for the better. New members have joined us who have excelled in their respective fields to cater to the various needs of the psychiatric patients.
