Ms. Ritika Matta is a Counseling Psychologist and working as a student Counselor in a reputed school. She frequently conduct training workshops for elementary school students, adolescents and adults by combining different forms of therapy. She is passionate about spreading mental health awareness and do the same through my work which is reflected through my writings and articles. She also takes one on one sessions with adults, adolescents and children and adopt an eclectic approach in therapy process and also taken therapy sessions in corporates and colleges as well. I have been consulting her for the past 6-7 sessions and my experience has been genuinely very positive. I had a really good experience with her. She is extremely understanding and empathetic, which makes it very easy to open up. Being young herself, she truly understands the kind of situations and challenges we face as youngsters today and how deeply they can impact us. Sessions feel very comfortable almost like talking to a friend you can trust, rather than feeling judged or analyzed. I have been to multiple psychologists earlier, but I was never able to continue beyond the first session. This is the first time I felt comfortable enough to come back for a second session, which itself says a lot. I’m really glad I found her.

I was going through a traumatic interpersonal relationship. I tried all the means to get out of it for the past 5 months. I was little sceptical to approach a psychologist due to the social stigma but I went ahead and contacted her. I will never ever forget the help she has done by being there. The first day I was literally crying out my heart while talking to Dr.Ritika. She heard through me completely and she did suggest me certain things to do. That changed everything. All she said was that I needed a proper closure from my ex. Also, she clearly understood my personality and traits. The second counselling I was little late but she was very accommodative and she had extended the time though she had some other session. She heard me out and understood what I went through and gave me that piece of advice because of which I am now finding peace with myself. I will personally recommend her to anyone with personal issues. Doc!!! You may not realise but you have really done a huge favour. You have helped a son return to his parents, a brother to his sister, a guy back to his friends and to top it.. I found myself back.
