Dr. Vidhya Sagar K (PhD)

My experience has been very positive. He has explained very clearly what my compulsions and obsessional thoughts are and how to overcome them. Since giving up or controlling a ritual action creates a lot of stress, I find it very difficult to do so. Dr. Vidhya Sagar has recommended a few exercises like deep breathing, which helps greatly in reducing stress. I would like to mention that Dr. Janardhan Reddy of NIMHANS, who is one of the foremost specialists in the country on OCD, advised me to seek CBT from Dr. Vidhya Sagar.

Dr. Vidya Sagar is extremely good at his job. He creates a safe space for you to open up about your problems and makes you feel very comfortable. He listens very patiently. Over the course of a few sessions, he helps you analyse the root cause of any problem that you might be facing and makes you self-reliant to tackle them effectively in your day to day lives.

Choosing to take therapy can be a tough call for most of us, but going to psychologists like Dr. Vidya Sagar makes it all worth it!

Dr. Vidyasagar is very candid and makes it sound treatable , a straight face humour helps too , he seems a hardcore professional in shooting it straight and very effective for me personally as i like that approach - his chair exercise in the last session left a deep impact and am sure will be the fulcrum to be aware and be normal and healthy .

He listens carefully about our problem and understands it then Explanation what is the actual problem and how to solve it whether it will helpful of not. he suggests couple of appointments and then decide for further therapies.
