Throughout my pregnancy, she stayed true to this philosophy — the only supplement she suggested was Iron, and even then, when I requested a natural alternative, she gave me a wonderful recipe of raw spinach juice with lemon, ginger, and jaggery. We were amazed to see our hemoglobin levels genuinely spike with just that. A doctor who gives you a recipe instead of a prescription — that says everything.
