I took my mother to Dr Uzma a an endocrine specialist in Hyderabad some 10 months back . We had a lot of trouble getting her sugar levels under control. She took time to understand my mother's history and answered all the relevant questions. Without a doubt she is very knowledgeable and spent time understanding our concerns and suggested options and what are the pro and cons of these options . She was patient with us never made us felt hurried during the consultation. She was always sympathetic to our concerns . Happy to say that my mother's diabetes is currently well controlled. She

She is kind and polite, a rarity in today’s world. At the same time a very sensible person. Please explain every concern and symptom of yours and she will listen with all ears and attention and will give you ample time. But don’t try to show your Google knowledge to her. She explains why she is giving the concerned medicine and its benefits and side reactions if any. She is very knowledgeable, No unnecessary tests, she even explained to us why she is getting the particular test, and depending on the results she may ask for more tests if required. She treated my thyroid and diabetes , both of which are under control now.

I accompanied my cousin to her clinic for Type 1 Diabetes control with very high Hba1c, After taking all the relevant history about symptoms and medication including family history she pointed out his wrong technique of insulin injection which he had been practicing for some years. Her support staff demonstrated the correct way of taking Insulin to us.After correction of insulin technique not only his sugars got controlled but now even his insulin dose has been reduced.
