The medication initially worked for around a month, *** **** * ******* ********** ****** I repeatedly told him about the hives *** ************ ****** *** *********** **** **** ***** ** ****** ** *** ******* *********** Instead of seriously considering a drug reaction, he told me it could be because of food, detergent, or something else and asked me to consult a dermatologist.

I followed his advice and went to a skin doctor, but the problem continued. I went back to Dr. Surendra Prasad, and I was again told to consult another dermatologist. * ********** *** ******* ************* *** **** ** **** **** * *** ************ *** ****** * **** *************** ******* ** ** **** during this entire period I continued struggling with hives ***** ** ******** ***** *** ******* ********** **** ********** ********** It was only after I went back to him with what the other dermatologist had told me and raised my concerns again that he finally asked me to stop the medication.

There was then a period of more than 10 days when I was off my Graves’ disease medication before I was put on PTU. PTU did not resolve the situation for me either. I continued having hives whenever I stopped the skin medication, and I also developed symptoms such as body pains and a sore throat. Meanwhile, my thyroid condition was getting worse. At this point, I felt there was no clear treatment plan for what should happen if I could not tolerate the standard medications.

My family and I contacted and visited him multiple times because I was in pain and genuinely did not know what I was supposed to do. We did not feel that we received proper guidance or urgency from him.
