Mr. Prabhakar

Dr. Prabhakar has completed bachelor degree from K.M.C.H. College of occupational therapy, affiliated to Dr. MGR University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He also completed a master of occupational therapy degree in Child Health (Pediatric) from Manipal College of allied health sciences, Manipal University, Karnataka. He has over 3 years of experience in this field of occupational therapy especially, handling children with autism spectrum disorders, delayed developmental milestones, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, learning disabilities, slow learners, sensory processing disorders, down's syndrome and cerebral palsy. He has provided individual therapy, group therapy, diagnostic, consultation and early intervention services to children by working in many clinics, special schools and hospitals in Bangalore and Hyderabad. He has specialized myself with sensory integration therapy, neuro developmental therapy, visual-perceptual therapy, handwriting skill training, fabrication of writing aids and hand splinting. I believe each child with special needs can function better with a collaborative interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach. He continually engage myself in professional development and use evidence- based approach to tailor high standard therapy for children to overcome their functional limitations.
