Dr. Narender kumar Thota

My mother in law is suffering from breast cancer and is his patient.We have been seeing him since last december and have had a good experience with him as he explained to us what is to be done and expected next. He is a doctor totally devoted and calm. We found him to be non commercial, a one who understands his patient's financial condition and works in the most convenient manner. Many a times when we asked him if my mother in law's condition required hospitalization, he has been honest and gave a straight forward answer consoling that she would be better at home. ** *********** ***** ** ****** **** **** ****** which made it convenient and comforting to us as we come from a completely opposite direction I.e. old city. That also shows his kind nature towards his patients. It was an ordeal when in the beginning we had gone to other doctors in other hospitals for second opinion and how they made us scared and tried to make money by making use of our love and concern for my mother in law. Doctors need to understand that when they speak to the patient nicely and listening to them calmly, the patient and his relatives feel half illness gone only because they have been heard well. If that kind of trust is built then you will have free publicity plus good number of patients visiting you with a lots of them praying for you. All that I want to tell in the end is Dr. Narender Kumar has done and is doing his part of a good doctor and we want to repay him back by thanking him and making others aware of a devoted and sincere doctor. You will find a handful of such people in the medical field for whom their profession is not a money making business

I am Lipsarani Behera, undergoing ITP Treatment since 4 months from Dr Narendra Kumar Thota sir, my platelet count was just 4000 when i started treatment, now i have to say that with his medicines and his treatment procedure i maintain a count of 1.5 lac and above.

1. He cares about his patients and keeps a tract of the medical records of his patients regularly.

2. He does not want his patients to go for unnecessary test and spend extra money.

3. He explains in details about the disease and its process for cure and gives confidence that no worries everything will be good!!

After 10 days of hospitalization in Kim's and 50 thousand as his alone consultations fee, after detecting problems in bone marrow ( Myelofibrosis), spleen, lungs, Lesions in bone, heart and platelets count of 4 thousand. He recommended only multivitamins. ***** ***** ******** **** ** ***** *** **** *** ******* *******

On top he was very rude and suspected that we were recording his conversation. He lacked both sympathy and empathy. On discharge day he said if we have the money keep the patient for a year in hospital, he did not care.

Never comes in time for checking the patients who are waiting for hours. Why should you mention the timings when you don't come on time. Think once there will be patients who are above 70 years of age, diabetic , & lot of other alignment problems. Request doctor to attend patients on time.

I visited him for treatment for hemolytic anemia. He prescribed various tests ranging from CPB to vitamin profile, COOMB's test and various biomarker estimation. Even after having all the test done and report share via e-mail as per his suggestion (as I moved to Bangalore), till now no advise was given on line of treatment. Even during my telephonic conversation, I found him rude.
