Ms. Ayesha Hakeem is a psychologist and psychotherapist who works with adolescents and adults (ages 12 and up). She offers a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore concerns at their own pace and work towards greater emotional clarity and balance.Her approach is rooted in Humanistic and Person-Centred principles, and she draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Behaviour Therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, relationship concerns, low self-worth, and life transitions.In addition to her clinical practice, she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy (DCP) from Yorkville University. She also supervises trainee psychologists, facilitates mental health workshops, and curates psychoeducational resources. Her work is informed by a deep respect for client autonomy and a commitment to culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care.
