Dr. Syed Athar Hussain

Dr. Syed Athar Hussain is highly experienced and provides a very good prognosis. He is warm and comforting, making the visit pleasant. The waiting time was short, under 15 minutes, and I would rate the consultation 5 stars.

I have been a regular visitor of Dr Hussain and trust his medicines. But of lately I have seen a trend in doctors of Apollo Hospital to suggest every patient a series of tests to come to a conclusion.

In past 3 months every member of my family who has visited Apollo were given the same set of tests - like Dengue, every possible blood test and so on..

Not to mention the price of almost every test lies in the rage of 1000₹ which altogether burn a hole in patient’s pocket.

To me a good doctor is someone who doesn’t suggests patients all sorts of tests in a hit and try way to come to a conclusion about a patients disease..

I know this review won’t make any change in the ongoing practice but would like the patients to be more informed and choose a doctor wisely..

Visited the doctor for a fever. Since dengue was so common, I thought he will be suggesting for a test since I had little shivering. But he explained me and he told if fever didn't go off within a day, we can proceed. Wait time is bill when I visited ! aNd very friendly too.

He's humble, professional and treats well, no bad attitude. He generously ask for symtoms and listened properly what i explained. It's been a good experience.

Doctor is very friendly and explain the issue carefully and most importantly listen to the patient and then prescribe medicine. The way he talks and explains make you feel good.

Very nice Doctor, listens patiently and suggests the treatment after careful considerations. Takes care of patients needs.
