He graduated in Internal Medicine from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh ,one of the country's premier medical institutions. He worked there as a senior consultant for 3 years in the departments of Rheumatology , Emergency medicine and Haematology thus gaining good experience.
