Dr. Smitha Allagadda

I visited Dr. Smitha for Hormonal Cystic Acne in March 2016. I am writing this review after 5 months with my complete experience with doctor, prescription and treatment. She suggested Isotretinoin-20mg daily and chemical peels.

Doctor: She is very patient, helpful, experienced, soft spoken person. Overall she is a good doctor. She is easily reachable via phone/appointments. Clinic is very hygienic and staff is very obliging and everyone knows his job. I got a good overall experience with doctor's team.

Chemical Peels: Older and current acne goes immediately after couple peels. Best for boosting up confidence immediately, whereas it doesn't help in stopping acne from coming back.

Isotretinoin: It does improves the condition but very slowly and steadily. In my case acne kept coming back even in 3rd,4rth month. Now also i am not completely acne free. But frequency and intensity of acne is much lesser than before. I am happy with results.

In nutshell i would say, doctors prescription and methods works. But, don't depend only on medicines and peels. Acne has its roots in lifestyle like food and exercise habits. To look good, feel happy, exercise daily and eat mindfully.

Dr smita's clinic is near to my place so i use to book appointment with her and visit to her clinic . Initially i had skin acne problem for which i was visiting to her she had handled my issue very carefully and sincerely. She has prescribed me few medications and those medications has benefited me a lot. My problem is gradually recovering. The clinic people are very concerned about patient convenience and their feasibility. As if they reschedule their appointments they us to call me and inform me about the changes. As it depends about the doctor's availability some time she sits after 6:30 pm sometime not for the same they use to inform us accordingly so its easy for us also to plan the things.After consulted with Dr Smitha i have not booked appointment with any other dermatologist because she is very good in nature caring and sincere about her work. I am visiting her from qute long time so i have observed every thing in the clinic and I can say clinic staff is warm and helping there and basicammenities are also good in her clinic.

Guys don't think much....just book an appointment n decide for yourself...

I had acne since I was 13.. went to so many docs but no one could cure permanently... suddenly I got severe acne,i lost all hopes...still my family asked me to give a last try with another doc.. I met Smitha mam then....the way she explained the issue with my acne,cure,the time she gives to every patient for treatment...I saw some hope back again....n believe me after the chemical peel treatment I have taken...my acne are gone..... completely....I have gain my confidence back...I don't know how much thanks I should convey her...still it wont be sufficient...she came as angel for me...thanks alot...

So many red flags..I don't know from where to begin:I am new to hyderabad so I don't know dermats here. I checked on practo and read amazing reviews about this doctor and so decided to book an appointment.Red flags:1) Did not explain anything properly.*** *** ****** **** ****** ***** *** ********* *** ****** *** * *** ****** She on the other hand didn't explain well.2)Before peel, you are supposed wash your face with facewash. she didn't have one in the clinic. The assistant perfomed peeling and the doctor was not there to monitor. The assistant kept the peel for more than said time. *** ****** **** ***** ** **** *** ***** **** ** **** * ***** *** ** **** **** ** ** ********3)Gave me so many expensive creams. When I read the ingredients after I went home**** **** ****** ** ** ** ****** **** ** ******* *** *********** ******** ********** I ended up spending alot ** ************* *******

I had visited the doc in 2016 and my experience was good hence i booked appointment again. But there is something very disappointing. I visited on 29th May. I don't mind visiting other doctors but there has to be transparency. Dr. Smitha was not in India then and she can not be consulted. There are two other doctors available. But this is not something u will be told at the clinic. U will think u r meeting dr Smitha only. Even the prescription will be given on her letter pad. Today when I called again to discuss my condition which was not geting better i was told that I can't talk to dr. Smitha since she is in US till 20th June. I was puzzled so i inquired that she had asked me to come 10 days later. On further questioning i realized i had met another doctor that day and she is also away and I can't talk to her she is out of work. I don't think i will want to visit again. ** **** **************** ** *** ************* ********* I changed doctor after a week and i am admitted in hospital right now with only 6000 platelets in my body.

While we found the doctor good in her approach when we met her, but she was totally non responsive when we tried reaching her for alternate to the medicine prescribed by her which was not available in the market.

Since the medicine prescribed vis a vis available was drastically different in the content, we tried to reach her office and left the multiple messages to call back.

But neither we got a call back nor we got a reasonable replacement advice even after multiple follow-ups.

i will strongly recommend u guys to visit once this docter. she is quit friendly and will listen to ur problems carefully and will give u the best suggestion!! all my pimples marks vanished gradually with her treatment !

She is very good doctor she is well experience she gave me the medicines which are sutited for me and she treated me for acne. Clinic staff also they are very friendly nd polite... and Which she has treated me the treatment is very good now I don't have any acne on my face..I have taken medicines regularly. It gradually it's treated.... and I'm sooooooo happy with her treatment ...... thank you soon much

The whole clinic is ultra clean and modern so you have a good and calm feeling when u visit here.Want to take a moment to share my absolutely positive experience with Dr.smitha. She has such a warm and caring personality. As soon as I met her it felt as though I was talking to an old friend. Obviously sometimes dermatology can be a little bit uncomfortable and she has a great way of putting me at ease and always takes the time to explain everything that's going on and educate me completely, something I would really appreciate and value.

I have visited once to Dr. Smitha for the rashes on my face .I was not sure about it but I Was taking the heavy potency medicine for my arthritis problem so may be due to that I got rashes on my face and for the same I visited to smitha.she is very good Dr as she had examined my rashes and took her own time for that . She has prescribed me some medicine for that ask me to apply that and also informed that if i feel any issue with that visit her again but i was out of station so i could not able to visit her.Overall experience is very good.

I highly recommend seeing her.

I was quiet confident to visit Dr. Smitha after reading so many good reviews about her on Practo, Google and other social media.. Friendliness and experience showed in due course over the medicines that I was prescribed. I surely will visit her in the future.
