Dr. Prashant Hegde

I went to Dr. Prashant Hegde for an opinion regarding some tests (suggested by another doctor) that I'd done after an episode of gastritis. He came across as a calm and down-to-earth person, and explained to me that the test results were normal and that there wasn't anything to worry about. He suggested diet/lifestyle changes and prescribed a few medicines. Most importantly, he listened to me patiently and addressed all the concerns that I shared with him. ** ****** ******* *** * **** ****** ****** ** *********, I would highly recommend him.

He listens well to the patient's previous health records *** **** ***** ** ****** *** **** ******** ********* *********** *** ********** *** ******* I always had some doubts visiting a new hospital and visiting a new doctor but these doubts have been busted in one go. Going forward Dr.Prashanth would be the only doctor I would be visiting for any gastro-related problems.

Visited doctor for fistula and abscess surgery.

Dr. Prashant is a very calm, friendly and confident doctor which makes the patients feel comfortable and trust the treatment.

Best part is Dr. Prashant does not suggest unnecessary tests or medicines, which is very rare these days.

I never had to wait for long even for the follow ups post surgery.

Dr. Prashant does the checkups and follow ups post surgery by himself rather than giving them to his assistants.

The staff is courteous and ready to help. Administration has lot of scope for improvement.

Overall it was a hassle free experience for me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Prashant, he is a very good Doctor.

Dr. Prashant Hegde is very patience and highly professional. I took my mother for Gastric treatment, at first he listened to all the concerns (Not all doctors do that) and then recommended some tests. Once we have received the report, he explained the problem and then prescribed the medicines. I would recommend him to not only because of his professional credentials and experience but also because he is very empathetic with patience which is very rare in doctors nowadays.

He first listens to your problem carefully and provides the diagnosis accordingly. Good in understanding the problem of the patient.

I will have to use his medication for the next 7 days and can comment further on his treatment.

So far I really feel good about his understanding my health issue.

Dr Prashant Hegde was very friendly he 1st understood my problem then explained what is wrong with me what things I should do and undo s . Prescribed medicines after a complete evaluation of my previous medical history.

Felt like he understood my problem completely and got a feeling like now my treatment is moving towards a proper direction after visiting a lot of Gastroenterology specialists.

He is very experience and nice doctor. I liked everything in the Hegde hospital including doctor, nurses, staff, and Admin. They all are very honest and good in terms of behaviour and caring. Dr Prashant sir is very nice doctor. He listens all the problems of patients calmly. He never suggest for unnecessary medical test as his diagnosis is very perfect. We went to Hegde hospital for breast lump surgery. And Dr Prashant sir executed it very well. Thank you Prashant sir.

I visited Dr Prashant for GERD problem. The doctor made me feel comfortable before he examined me in thorough.

He explained my ailment and advised dos and don’t apart from prescription.

My confidence to fight the problem of acidity increased immediately.

Unprofessional. Waited for more than 50 minutes after paying fees at the reception. Doctor did not show up. Reception kept calling him and kept me waiting. Surprisingly, when I wanted to leave they were reluctant to refund the fees.

Can't comment on treatment as was not treated.

I would like to say that Dr. Hegde is an excellent doctor and very friendly in his approach. He gave his precious time and explained my Gastrointestinal problem and regarding Barrets Esophagus very well. I felt he connects with his patients in a different level to make him comfortable. Very decent and has a lot of confidence in what he speaks and explains the root cause of the problem which is highly commendable. He does not suggest unnecessary tests to be done which is highly appreciated. I have just started with the medication. I’m sure they would work. Thank you Dr Hegde for your time and help. I feel we need more doctors like you in our country.
