Dr. Manas Kumar Panigrahi

Hydrocephalus condition: Shunt done by Dr. Raja Reddy 20 yrs ago, which wasn't followed up as the patient was fine so we didn't care to follow up. Liquid started collecting in the stomach post 20 years and the stomach was swollen. Operation was done to remove the collection of liquid from stomach by another surgeon followed by the ETV Procedure by Dr. Manas.

Surgery conducted by Dr. Manas was very effective by the grace of God. He was not willing to do the procedure initially as any neuro surgery is not known to be 100% safe.

Since the patient's headaches were not going away, he agreed for the operation.

Me and my family's prayers will always be with him and his family! May God bless him and his patients and may he continue to serve the patients

I'd very highly recommend him for neuro procedures.

Agreed he doesn't speak much, but he doesn't scare you like all the other doctors did !

Pros:

- Always wears a smile on his face and is responsive on messages post procedure for any follow ups or updates

- Doesn't scare you like other doctors ( for ex: 50/50 chances, 60/40 chances like the other doctors did )

- Talks less which is perfect. He is not a counsellor. The junior Drs manage all the communications. Which I really like because this enables him to attend more patients

Cons:

- Wait time I agree. But then we literally consulted 9-10 doctors before we finalized on Dr. Manas, who had a long queue of patients. But one consultation and we were sold.

I got my Son operated in KIMS, Minister Road and that time my Son was only 12. He was having epilepsy and whenever he used to get seizures, my complete family used to be in shock and were having nightmares. After going here and there, we were referred to KIMS. Dr.Sita Jayalakshmi did all the consultation and then we went forward to have my Son operated. The team that Dr.Panigrahi is having was excellent. Highly trained. Because of too many patients, they do not give much attention after surgery in talking to the patients attendants, but the treatment which they give shall get your worried out.

Today, my Son is around 24 and he is working in one of the Top S/W firm as a Software Development Engineer and he never had any issues after Surgery.

My complete family would be thankful forever to Dr.Manas Panigrahi and his Team.

Very impatient and in a hurry to meet the next patient. Does not answer questions properly or fully. Had to wait 4 hours for my appointment. Do not recommend

Waited for more than 5 hrs to meet Dr, finally he came and listened to Jr. Dr. who has taken my history. He has not given time to get explanation on my doubts and health issues.

Dear Dr. Please give some time for patients to explain their problems and get clarification. We come all the way to get good treatment not for KIMS visit.

Doctor superb. Nice tretiment. And get well recovery. Fully satisfied. Sir one suggestion for u sir you have talk about pations with his/her parents. It is mandatory. But u can't. Please try is sit. You r the most experience person. It is small request sir.

sir has been given better treatment for my brother spinal issue.. thank you very much sir..he was given less medicines..

1) Lot of waiting time for consultation.2) No time for doctor to listen you fully.3) Before going for surgery, he wouldn't indicate of consequences. When I consulted him for my mother's brain tumor, he suggested to admit for surgery. After admitting and after operation, doctors say it is just biopsy and not complete removal of tumor from brain. ** ****** ** ***** ***** ****** *******

My parents met many doctors and my mom is also a doc she consulted Dr Dibbala Rao Manas sirs guru and moms friend and he suggested his name after that he made few tests and conducted surgery and removed d tumour after 4 yrs it grew a little so he suggested to get radiation done after that a few problems but I'm stil living and I'm a doc now coz of God and Dr Manas... This was in 2005.. then he was in Nims

Just believed his words and went for surgery..I couldn’t walk now..facing issues even at work.. I don’t suggest him at all..
