Such emergency cases are always prioritized to ensure the safety of both mother and baby. During this time, our team still made efforts to assist you and address your concerns. We also handle MTP-related cases with sensitivity, confidentiality, and respect for patient decisions. While managing multiple critical and sensitive cases simultaneously, our priority remains patient safety and responsible medical care. We would also like to clarify certain billing details mentioned in your statement. As per our records, the payment made during your visit included ₹650 towards consultation and ₹1,200 towards ultrasound scanning. We request you to kindly avoid sharing incorrect or misleading information regarding charges. Regarding the MTP procedure, our clinic charges ₹9,000, which includes standard procedural and medical care components. A detailed breakup of the charges can always be provided upon request. Our pricing is structured as per standard medical practice and remains reasonable when compared with similar healthcare facilities. We would also like to clarify that the investigations advised during your visit were recommended specifically for the safe conduct of the MTP procedure. These investigations are necessary to rule out conditions such as ectopic pregnancy, which can be life-threatening if not identified before proceeding with treatment. Patient safety is our foremost priority, and we do not advise unnecessary investigations in our practice. We request your understanding in this regard. During your visit, there was a situation where our front office staff experienced difficulty in explaining details due to the tense environment during the interaction. Despite this, our team made multiple attempts to contact you to provide a detailed breakup of the charges and address your concerns; however, we did not receive a response. We fully respect a patient’s right to choose their healthcare provider. If you were not comfortable proceeding with services at our clinic, you were free to explore other options. However, we request that interactions within the hospital premises remain respectful to maintain decorum and ensure smooth functioning of patient care services. We understand that medical situations, especially those involving sensitive procedures, can be emotionally stressful.
