Dr. Pramod Kumar has been my cardiologist since 2007. I had undergone a triple bypass graft surgery three years earlier. Since 2007, I have been under his care and have not had any problems. In January 2019, about 16 years after my bypass, I needed to undergo angioplasty for 3 blocks, which Dr. Pramod Kumar performed. In my long relation with him as a patient, I can testify to his professional competence, his sense of humanity and concern for the patient, his rare integrity and his very amiable personality. I will narrate one incident. When I consulted him in 2007 because I felt discomfort while taking a class, I asked him if I needed to do an expensive test. He replied that there was nothing seriously wrong with me, and that I would be fine for at least 10 years post-bypass. In these days of corporatization of healthcare, we need more people like him who are dedicated to the care of the patient and not the profit of the hospital.

My mom recently underwent Angioplasty, Dr.Pramod claimed that the process was successful but after 3 months when there were few complications we consulted two other doctors who said the aAngioplsty was done in a wrong way and should be done once again. I strongly recommend not to consult this doctor.
