For a criticle reason doctors put my wife on ventillator for 2 days,
after this stage, she went into AKI (Acute Kidny Injury),
doctors told that this condition can be recovered within 3 months of time at maximum,
after 2 months, doctor did a test (ultra sound) to know kidney size for a boipsy, to our surprise, we found that kidney size is reduced, at this stage Creatinine level is fluctuating around 7 to 9, and my wife undergoing a dialysis during this period
we fainted and decided to go for a second opinion, because of friend reference we visited Dr.Kavitha Gone for a second opinion
she did certain tests to understand situation (please note, she waited till 7PM to see the reports, we were happy), at first meeting itself my wife got a confidence on Dr.Kavitha because of the way she explained the situation
she recommended immediate dialysis on the next day as the creatinine level was around 7.2
after 2 dialysis sessions the creatinine level came down to 6.5, then she stopped dialysis (we were happy)
after 1 month, she recommended for a biopsy (even though kidney size is not suitable for biopsy) to better understand the situation, we worried (but she gave us a confidence)
biopsy went well without no glitches (the doctor who did the biopsy is very good it seems) and without a single symptom
after a biopsy, we realized that both Kidneys are functioning with very low percentage,
we are happy with Dr.Kavitha Gone, because,
a) First thing, what we understood is, she is not commercial (we were happy), if something is required then only she recommended to go for it
b) She spends time with Patient, it is important for this kind of chronic condition
c) She tries to help you (we experienced this during our interaction with her) in various ways rather than making you panic
now my wife is not in dialysis since 3 months (we were happy), probably, in future, we have to
I recommend, just visit her at least once to know your condition, I am sure that you will continue medication with her.

I have been a patient of Dr.kavitha Gone for two years now. I was on dialysis when I first consulted her. Her diagnosis improved my health a lot and made the whole process from dialysis to kidney transplant as smooth as possible.
When I changed from my previous doctor to Dr.Kavitha Gone, my B.P. was quite high too. My Parathyroid and potassium levels were high too. She immediately addressed the Parathyroid problem. My B.P. came to normal. She also helped in reducing my potassium levels solely by making changes to my diet. She always does a great job by frequently monitoring my reports and changing medicines accordingly.
She was of great support to me during my transplant and made sure the operation was a success. The post operation care was also excellent. I hardly had any complications during or after the transplant.
Dr.Kavitha Gone has always been very considerate in clarifying any doubts by passing a message through the hospital staff, when I was unable to go to the hospital. She has always given me positivity, encouraging me to continue working instead of feeling low.
I will always be thankful for what Dr.Kavitha has done for me and would strongly recommend her to others.

Meeting her was one of the best things in my life, just like having the world's best sister ;)
As a doctor she addressed all my concerns, the logical and illogical ones too. She counselled me when I got scared. I did not have a good experience with my doctors in the past as they were generally snobby, and would look down at you. BUT, she isn't anything like that. She is kind and understanding. I have cried and probably told her of all the things that scare me. The best part is she listens to you. She could have shooed me away by saying that my fears were not something she'd deal with, but no, she instead referred me to a psychiatrist and got me be the best service I could ask for.
She still treats me for my CKD and I guess am doing good. I feel great about things. I am not cranky or puckish all the time anymore. Legs don't swell, n I don't look like a bloated cow anymore. Not perpetually lethargic either :)
I am a complete fan of hers. I wish her all the very best in life, abundance of joy and blessings. Thank you again, couldn't ask for anything more :)
