I completely understand that doctors may have emergencies or unexpected situations, but patients’ time should also be respected. If there is going to be such a long delay, the clinic should at least inform patients and provide an estimated waiting time.
Being a doctor is a respected profession, but respecting patients also means respecting their time. I hope the hospital improves its communication and appointment management so that other patients do not have to face the same experience.
