We consulted Dr. Dattaram for my mother (70 yrs) with a complaint of severe abdominal pain. After reviewing the initial test results, we learned that my mother was suffering from a Gall Bladder issue. Datta Ram sir was very kind and explained everything in detail to my mother and us on possible treatment options, pros & cons, and best recommendations. I'm amazed to see such a professional taking that quality time to explain all minure details, and we felt like we were talking to a family member.

Sir thoroughly investigated and had done the "Lap Cholecystectomy." He is a thorough professional, always wearing a cheerful smile and keeping patient and their family members confident.

Post-surgery there were no complications at all, and it has been close to a month since my mother underwent a surgical procedure and she has been improving and keeping good health.

Dr. Dattaram has performed hemorrhoids surgery for my husband. He has been the best possible surgeon for us. Apart from having vast knowledge in his field, he is also having an open ear. He is patient enough to listen to patient's problems in depth. He would never interrupt or show hurry. He makes you very comfortable. He he very friendly with his patients. He doesn't suggest unnecessary medications or treatments. His approach is always towards patients good only.

Before the surgery, he met us several times. Explained us the problem that we were having. Also with that, he proposed us best solution. He never forced any procedure but let us decide. He is having magical hands which was evident in the way he performed this surgery. Post surgery he took nice care of us. Post surgery there was no complications at all and recovery time was much faster than expected. We never felt any fear of treatment just because of Dr. Dattaram treating us like his own family and friends.

If one can have full faith on his/her doctor, treatment becomes very smooth and result is also positive. We would definitely recommend Dr. Dattaram to all those who are having any Gastric related problems.

We are new to hyderabad and having a good doctor in a new set up is sheer blessing. We went to the hospital in emergency and were lucky that Dr Datta Ram was assigned for the emergency surgery of my husband.

He patiently listened to everything we had to say, explained the alternatives and elaborately explained things to us in layman language for us to be able to understand. Before the surgery he again explained the whole procedure to me n my parents. In the panic of the moment, he did not only took care of my husband, but brought us relief too. Those 2 hours passed away smoothly for us only because we were assured that he was in great hands.

Immediately after the surgery, he explained us everything that happened inside OT and told us about what is going to happen to my husband in the next 2-3 days of his stay in the hospital. He entertained all our panicked and sometimes silly questions and asked if we had any doubts in our minds.

During the stay as well, he gave us an exceptional treatment of visiting the patient frequently and attending our queries midnight too. More than medicines, he advised us on how we can improve on his health and what precautions we need to take in the future.

All in all, we have been blessed to have Dr Datta Ram for my husband. I come from a world where surgeries and hospitals gives me anxiety, but he is an angel. God bless him and his family 🙏🏽

We consulted Doctor Dattaram for my Mother K. Lakshmi, 86 years of age, at Sunshine hospital, Gachibowli based on a referral by Dr. Ramesh Srinivasan (Prerna Hospital)

My mother was unwell around 20th of October for couple days, with severe pain in abdominal area and was vomiting food couple days. After initial tests at the hospital by doctor Dattaram we learnt she was suffering with jaundice and a gall bladder issue. Doctor suggested two available options to treat the condition. We chose Percutaneous cholecystostomy, an image-guided placement of drainage catheter into gallbladder lumen. This minimally invasive procedure can aid the stabilization of a patient to enable a more measured surgical approach with time for therapeutic planning.

Post this surgery, my mother improved under guidance and treatment of Dr. Dattaram. It has been close to a month since my mother underwent surgical procedure and she has been improving and keeping good health.

Dr. Dattaram, surgical gastroenterologist, is a thorough professional one that wears a positive smile and gives confidence to patients and their family.

I was facing severe pain with swollen glands on the left leg at top thigh portion for more than three days before visiting Dr. DattaRam on 23 May 2020.

23 May 2020 - On the 1st visit, doctor has checked my condition and he has written to get an Ultra-Sound scan (paid Rs.1440) to identify the issue and the problem I was facing is called as "Swollen Lymph Nodes in Groin" in medical terminology. After looking at the scan report, doctor mentioned nothing to worry, such issues will be mostly gone by using antibiotics for about 7-10 days and has prescribed medicines to use and get back for another visit after 4 days.

26 May 2020 - By the 2nd visit, I still have the pain. Hence, doctor advised to get a CBP (complete blood picture - paid Rs.330) along with another Ultra-Sound scan (free of cost) through another radiologist. There were no scan reports given this time as both doctors have spoken with each other over phone and in-person. Later Dr. DattaRam has mentioned there is some puss way deep inside and suggested to get it removed by a small surgical cut through a surgery. As I was not mentally prepared, I asked him 2 days’ time, so he asked me to continue the medicines.

28 May 2020 - By the 3rd visit, I was feeling better than the initial visit and the swollen/reddishness has gone down a bit as well. When I asked the lobby staff for the doctor visit, they asked me to pay the OP which was a bit surprise as the first time paid consultation amount of Rs.850 is valid till 1 June 2020 which clearly shows on the receipt. After mentioning that to the staff, I visited Dr. DattaRam and this time I have noticed doctor being a bit unfriendliness which was not there in the previous 2 visits which bothered me, but I remained silent. On further checking the issue, we started discussing about the what/when/how of the Surgery and when asked about how much it costs, doctor has given a rough range of twenty to twenty five thousand rupees Rs.20,000-Rs.25,000 and spoke with their hospital team who handles the cases with insurance policy and asked us to meet the staff in the ground floor. Upon visiting them, they asked how much my insurance amount limit is along with insurance provider details. After giving those details, they quoted me an approximate amount of Rs.60,000, sixty thousand rupees and it was a totally stunned moment for me. They further said, I need to bear additional amount for the surgical material used in the operation theatre, dressing for a week, medicines etc.

I really wanted to thank Mr Datta Rama Sir..We recently visited Sunshine Gachibowli branch for my mother .she had pain in stomach and after going through all checkups, Gallbladder stone problem was detected .So After checking all the reviews online, we decided to go for Sunshine Dr datta ram sir.He is a very kind person who understand the situation and also explained the problem really well .Even for cashless insurance, where that insurance person should take care of everything, Sir was involved and suggested for the best option available.Even after gallbladder removal surgery, He personally followed up and when my mother had some small problems after surgery, so he guided over phone .This is not the only case and we have seen similar situation with other patients when we visited the hospital.He listens problem very carefully and helped in all possible way.Thankyou very much Sir.

I am not sure why some people are complaining about wait time, it is not doctor's fault .Pactro guys should check with hospital staff before sending confirmation message.Even in first appointment I waited for 30mins but it was worth waiting for .I could see how doctor manages surgery and normal appointment and obviously if surgery is going beyond the time then then its not doctor's fault .I am really happy with hospital and all other staff.

I am Murali Teku from Hyderabad and I am writing this to share my wonderful and beyond impressed experience with Dr. Dattaram in the hope of helping others like us who are fighting for the life. Just 6 months back my father-in-law was diagnosed as Hilar Cholongiocarcinoma (Bile duct Cancer) in advance stage. Few other doctors gave us no hope and further medication/treatment but a suggestion just to keep him happy till his last breath. Fortunately and by god’s grace, I happened to meet Dr.Dattaram as a last hope and surprisingly, he welcomed the case and studied well and explained me in detail about my father-in-law case in the first visit itself. After lot of study of this case, he suggested confidently to go for a surgery which will cure the problem. We were in dilemma and unable to take a call as other doctors said there is no hope. We did not want our father-in-law to suffer a lot and bed ridden in his last days. At this confusion, It was very nice of him to have always gone out of his way and spend time to explain and council multiple times just not to lose the hope and save a life. He explained in great detail on how the surgery will be done, what complications could come and if any, how to treat them etc.. and on top of everything, he answered all our questions and doubts with lot of patience.

With all his support, My Father-in-law underwent Left Hilar Hepatectomy (liver resection ) surgery on 16th Jun 2018 which took little more than 6 hours and he was discharged from the hospital without any complications within a week. Even after discharge, Doctor was enquiring about my father-in-law’s health conditions regularly and providing the suggestions. Very happy to share that my father-in-law is leading his life normally and all that credit goes to Dr.Dattaram.

I have not met such a skillful, professional yet with right attitude and down-to-earth doctor so far and I am sure its very rare to find such professionals in these days. We really thankful to his kindness and outstanding treatment with utmost care.

In 2016 Nov my father had pain in abdomen and was admitted to Omni Hosp and after 3 days in emergency and urgency he was referred to Dr. Dattaram, leading Gastrosurgeon, Yashoda hosp..

On 7th Nov me , my Brother and my mother had a discussion and Dr. Dattaram informed us that situation was little serious as my father had abdominal detention since 2 days and constipation for 2 days and had descening colon thickening with minor perforations.

Dr Dattaram looking into the situation informed us that my father was supposed to undergo EXPLORATORY LAPROTOMY-HARTMAN’S procedure for perforated colon - colostomy...

Dr Dattaram explained us the situation and we agreed for the surgery.

He performed the colostomy procedure which was very successful..

Again in May 2017 the same procedure was done for reversal of Hartman’s procedure.. once again the operation was extreme successful..

Dr. Dattaram was in regular touch at regular intervals with my father and me for well being of my father ..He made a point to make my father comfortable every time, apart for having a Dr patient relationship he loved to maintain a friendly relationship..

Dr Datta is very professional and treats patients with affection and respect. He has lots of patience to listen all our problems and given us the best solutions. He explained us the problem and given options and enough time to think for surgery and guided us in right direction. He is very good in understanding mental condition of the patient and provides them enough confidence before proceeding with treatment. I had infection in my large intestine. I was scared when I initially found this after consulting other doctors. I went to Dr Datta Ram for surgery of removal of the same. He spent a lot of time with us to explain the situation and steps/procedures that will be followed for the treatment of the same. This has really helped us to get rid of any doubts from our mind and we could plan the surgery well.

He never forced for any procedures but let us decide. He even helped us post surgery. Its been six months now I do not see any complications. My life is back to normal.
