Dr. Chaitanya Challa

Very good doctor for diabetes, I would recommend my friends and family members to this doctor. **** **** ********* ** ******* ********* I have never seen the doctor like this who has very patience to explain the patient prognosis to patient attendants.

Great. The appointment started on time and doctor clearly explained on the issue. Recommended for a blood test which I even thought was necessary.

On 20.12.2017, there was a communication gap about discharge of my father. But Doctor Chaitanya despite my telling "sorry" several times and going behind him telling "sorry" shouted at me (54 year old son of 82 year old bed ridden father) in front of so many of his reception staff (there were no patients at that time) while discharging my dad without giving any professional advice and told "Yeah . . . even if u say sorry several times . . . u wl b sorry only . . . Get lost . . . i dont want to talk to you . . . everything wl b written in discharge summary . . . " and simply walked away without meeting me or the patient at the time of discharge.

I have never seen such an arrogant behaviour in any doctor i hv met in my life.

I had recorded this incident in the ward's (Room No. 313) complaint register as well as feedback form given by the nurse.

Upon his shouting at me, even the malayali head nurse posted in the 3rd floor (name i dont know) at that time (20.12.2017 4.15 pm) cooly sitting and telling "discharge wl take 2 to 3 hours . . . ".

At this time time I phoned Dr Jayant Challa (the Senior Doctor) who intervened and helped me get out of the hospital quickly.

In my experience, if one has to deal with Dr Chaitanya in this hospital, better avoid this hospital.

He did not listen to me at all

He does not know how to talk with patient

He does not have any time to talk with patient

Very satisfactory and Dr Chaitanya's personal attention to the patients more patiently at all times with great smile which makes patients more comfortable and confident. His systematic diagnosis is simply superb.

I didn't like the way how he treated. Though other doctors were saying no requirement of admission. He insisted for admission immediately and the way of diagnosis about fever didn't like.
