Dr. Ashutosh Kumar

Dr Ashutosh Kumar is a Senior Interventional Cardiologist & Electrophysiologist with 15 years of experience in Cardiology. He did his MBBS & MD from the Banaras Hindu University. He obtained his DM Cardiology from the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Kolkata. He headed the Department of Cardiology at Narayana Medical College, Nellore, He did his fellowship at the National Heart Institute, Malaysia. He did his observership in advanced electrophysiology procedures at German Heart Centre, Munich. Germany, Aurora Health Centre, Milwaukee Wisconsin, USA and Viteran General Hospital, Taiwan. He is one of the four Cardiac Electrophysiologist from India who has the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE, USA) which certifies for the Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS). He is also a certified Electrophysiologist specialist in Adult Cardiology (CEPS-AC). He has been felicitated with fellowships from the world esteemed organization: American College of Cardiology "as FACC, "European Society of Cardiology" as FESC, "Heart Rhythm Society" as FHRS, and "Society of Cardiology Angiography & Intervention as FSCAI. He is presently working as a full-time Interventional Cardiologist & Electrophysiologist in the Department of Cardiology in Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad.
