Dr. Anand V Agroya

if you read this lengthy post, you will understand the reason why it is so, i intend to get you a full perspective of my experience with Dr.Anand.

i was visiting HYD with my family sometime in May'18 when i happened to suddenly aggravate my old ACL injury at about 830 pm in the evening somewhere in Madhapur. i twisted my knee and was in severe pain, needed to get my knee checked urgently, felt i had dislocated something, the pain was excruciating.

i reached my hotel, Avasa, enquired about Orthopedic doctors close by, almost losing hope, given the late hour i was directed to call Pace Hospital and managed to get Dr.Anand, who was leaving for the day. He took the call, showed great empathy, agreed to wait till i reached there to examine me.

On reaching the hospital, I was directed immediately to Dr. Anand who took care of everything from examination to X-ray and treatment. He later explained my situation and injury with a great deal of patience with a detailed summary of my condition. Coming from a family of doctor's, and being familiar with trauma and sports injuries from my past, Dr.Anand's explanation gave immense confidence and comfort to me and my wife.

Needless to day, this entire session delayed Dr.Anands departure for his house and his dinner, by about an hour. All through the course, Dr.Anand did not seem one bit hurried in our interactions, which spoke volumes on his commitment to his patients and his trade.

Given the amount of pain and nature of injury, i expected some very severe news about the injury, but the subsequent experience with Dr.Anand changed my entire perspective and i limped back feeling elated, and celebrated the event with a beer. This is something you don't experience often.

This chance encounter with Dr. Anand gave me and my family a great insight into the wonderful human being that he is and the values he stands for, which really matters a lot today in the healthcare sector, given our varied experiences and things we hear about.

I had a similar experience subsequently in my follow up session with Dr.Anand after about two months.

i remain grateful for the assistance Dr.Anand rendered in my hour of need, he is truly an outstanding example of what we need as professionals in the medical fraternity.

Truly, a remarkable experience with a remarkable Doctor/human being!!!

My first visit to Pace-Hospital at Begumpet for my wrist pain.

Suffering with horrible pain in wrist since 3years, i was continuosly undergoing various treatments and massages at bone setting centres. Noone were unable to find the cause and was fed up with medical treatments.

Finally i read about Dr. Agroya on practo seen reviews and thought to make a last visit to this doctor... Booked appointment the other day and visited pace hospital.

I did not find hospital staff that helpful in assissting patients rather they were busy in their own works... But then it was my turn to see the doctor, i've explained him the entire problem of my wrist pain...

Dr. Anand Agroya patiently heard all the issues and did a thorough examination of the affected joint. *** ********** ***** *** ********** **** *** ** ** *********

Accordingly treatment was done and received some medication... I was relieved from pain the other day.

Also he had written minute details about symptoms and his treatment in the case files for future reference.

Highly impressed by his diagnosis and the way he treats patients politely i am writing this review and i recommend Dr. Agroya for any orthopedic issues.

Recently visited Pace-Hospital at Hitech city for treatment of my Mother's shoulder-joint pain.

Dr Agroya patiently heard all the issues, studied previous case-files, asked relevant questions, and did a thorough clinical examination of the affected joint. He seems very confident about his diagnosis and treatment plan. His prediction about the root-cause came out to be accurate, as testified by the reports later.

He takes out time and writes minute details about symptoms and his treatment in the case files.

Although he is specialized in Ortho, but he doesn't restrict his diagnosis to only Ortho. He helped in uncovering a major blunder in our previous treatment-plan.

I have known Dr. Anand Agroya for nearly 4 to 5 years now, and he has been our go-to consultant for any orthopedic issues within our family.

Truly amazing doctor. He was very patient and clearly explained the diagnosis to us . The doctor ho you knee ultrasound and X-ray quickly. A part of my knee cap was fractured and that scared me. The doctor took the time to calm me down and Very patiently explained the diagnosis and treatment. For my treatment I needed a knee brace and the doctor got multiple knee braces to demonstrate it and to make sure I got the right one. He even stayed beyond his shift time. Truly amazing doctor and human being !! This isn’t the first time I’ve gone to him for consultation. Earlier too I had gone to the doctor and he had treated us very well.

I was experiencing severe pain in my knee along with swelling. Dr. Anand prescribed medicines that gave a lot of relief and now the knee is much better. The best part about Dr. Anand is...he patiently examines the joint by applying some techniques until he is certain where exactly the problem is...and then explains the problem to the patient using a prototype model of the knee joint...and then he will tell you in detail what is the medical problem and the term that we can search on web to learn more if we want. At first visit..we were thinking that at least X-ray need to be done but he did not even had to do the x-ray...as he could tell us the problem just by examining the joint. So I would recommend him for similar joint problems. Kudos.

I will highly recommend Dr. Anand to those looking for an orthopedic. He carefully listens to patient's explanations and clearly explains them the issue they are facing. I really liked his approach of minimal tests and his suggestions of simple yet effective lifestyle changes to bring about relief and recovery.
