I Became a gastroenterologist because it gives me the opportunity to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions - reflux disease, vomitings, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, Irritable bowel syndrome , diarrhea, malabsorption syndromes, obesity, constipation, gluten intolerance, bleeding from the GIT, infectious diseases of the GIT, GI cancer and also diseases of the pancreas, gall bladder and liver. Being a GI doctor lets me combine technical skills of performing procedures and also see patients suffering from wide range of diseases. I treat patients over 18 and have a lot of experience. The most rewarding part of my day is building relationships with patients. It's my goal to listen to my patients and use my knowledge and technical abilities to educate and improve their quality of life. I feel privileged to be part of someone's healthcare experience
