I will share my story, Recently my father had mild heart attack so I was joined him in our local hospital **** *********** They checked my father condition and said like they can’t treat him because my father had 80% block in heart main vessel and they asked us to go for second opinion.

I tried two hospitals even they said there is so much of risk in that and if we have to treat your father you have to sign on paper for risk acceptance. I was completely blank and I don’t know what to do.

After that I called to my uncle who stayed in Hyderabad and explained all the story. He immediately responded and suggested Dr sharath reddy sir(hero to me). Then me and my relatives went to his house and told all the story. I still remember his reaction. He just said WE CAN DO IT. He gave me so much of confidence, that is very important to every doctor.

Inspite of being an excellent doctor he is also a very good human being. Very down to earth. I can assure that the people who all visits him will definitely become his fans. I really admire him very much. Though there were number of cardiac doctors available with in 10 km of distance we travelled 40 km distance to reach him even in an emergency. I think this is enough to understand about his quality of treatment and the standards that he maintains.

My experience with him:

Suffering from HOCM. We literally have no clue because one doctor says they will do alcohol septal ablation and other doctor says there are high chances of CARDIAC ARREST. So they will implant AICD(Pacemaker type).

These 2 doctors are very good doctors in Hyderabad from apollo and yashoda. We are in a confusions because we need take the right step. In this time I got a suggestion from a very big guy saying me that Dr no Mr.SHARATH is celebrity doctor that he treats Big guys. So we landed in medicover hospitals.********

So in the very first Consulation he took all the reports went through it and said “Not enough I will personally check”. Rewinded with each test again in the following visits. ECG,2D Echo, TEE Report, Cardiac MRI, Holter etc.

After 3 months he told for HOCM first we will go with medications and after that we will plan surgery. LVOT gradient is around 80mmHg and moderate MR. Next visit is after 3 months.

After 3 months again: Beacause of High Dose of medicine Heart rhythmn became better. Told that at present there is no need of any type of surgery. Trusted him Blindly. At this time I should have taken second opinion again[REGRET].

Next visit is after 6months now. After 5 months got lung infection(didn’t knew at that time) and saturation levels are becoming low. Thought normal cough and waited for 3 weeks But it’s not stopping and sputum is coming out in 4th week when coughing. 6months done next follow up day came.

Admitted directly into ICU. He came and told that suffering with lung infection, Bilateral Pneumonia. We can’t proceed with surgery at this time once reduced we will go forward with surgery as planned******** *** ********

After receiving high level antibiotics lung infection is reducing. But LVOT gradient is 130 mmHg and SEVERE MR. Generally in this condition should go through open heart surgery. As he is interventional cardiologist he proposed a new minimally invasive surgery which is Mitral clip surgery. And a tablet should be used post surgery which is very costly. *** **** ****** ** **** ** *** ***** ** ***** ** ** ********** **** ** **** ******* ** *** *** **** *** ******* ***** ****** ** **** ** ** ********** ****** He said “with this surgery will live for 10-15 years and after that done”************ **** **** ** **** ** *************

Gave a lot of emotional support and pushed us to open heart surgery.

He gave up now and he is not at all treating well, not at talking to us properly, not giving opinion or suggestion to us . Now we don't know where to go and whom to consult.
