Bhavya is a psychologist from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She has completed her Masters in Applied psychology with a specialization in clinical psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She uses techniques like trauma-informed therapy, client centred, eclectic approach to psychotherapy. She believes that clients have their strengths, which can enable them to achieve their full potential. Her area of specialization includes anxiety, sleep difficulties, autism and learning difficulties. Whereas, her field of interest is in case management, psychopathology, child counselling and play therapy. In addition, she also has interests in special education, dialectical behavioural therapy and narrative practices. Her passion for mental health and its advocacy has grown over the years and she constantly strives to make a difference in the lives of people she interacts with on a daily basis.Bhavya loves to write poems, short stories during her free time and also engages in painting, arts and crafts for relaxation.
