Dr. A. R. Veejai Chandran.

Dr. Veejai chandran completed his Periodontology specialty from SRM dental college in Chennai and has been exclusively practicing in Chennai. He has training in Implant placement and management as well as in Laser procedures. He is particularly trained in the Diode laser and the applications of the laser in Surgical procedures including cosmetic work such as Smile correction, Teeth whitening, Gummy smile and Gum relining. He is also trained in the Newest tooth reattachment procedure using Laser termed LANAP, the first of its kind in Tamilnadu. However, not ,limiting to Implant and Laser procedures alone, he also has experience in all root canal procedures including management of grossly decayed teeth, surgical removal of unerupted teeth. Due to his training as a Periodontist, Dr. Veejai is also accomplished in Preventive care, bone grafting, teeth replacement procedures, bone growth procedures, managing sensitive teeth and soft tissue grafting. He has authored a paper on 'Management of Peri implantitis using a 810 nm laser diode' which has obtained the 'Best Scientific Paper' at the Global dental Meet, 2015 and is now in the process of being published in the acclaimed medical journal "Lasers In Medical Sciences"
