We are from Newtown, Kolkata. We were referred to Dr. B Venkateshwar Rao, Shreya Eye Care Centre, Hyderabad for my daughter for suspecting squint recently by Doctors at Kolkata and Burdwan.

Our daughter, 6 years old, on our visit at his center, was then diagnosed with Intermittent Exotropia (Squint Eyes) with poor control on 12th Sept 2025. Under the care of Dr. Rao, she underwent successful surgery on both eyes on 17th Sept 2025 at Hyderabad.

From the very beginning, we felt reassured and relaxed by Dr. Rao’s confidence, clear guidance, and assurance of cure. The entire journey — consultations, pre-operative checkups, the surgery itself, and post-operative care — was handled in a disciplined, systematic, and highly professional manner.

What touched us most was the caring and supportive approach of Dr. B Venkateshwar Rao and his team. They created such a friendly and homely atmosphere that our daughter never once felt fear. In fact, she remained cheerful and enthusiastic throughout, hardly realizing that she will or had undergone surgery.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Rao and the entire Shreya Eye Care Centre and The Hospital team for their wonderful treatment, compassion, and dedication. It was truly a remarkable and reassuring experience for us as parents.

We have visited Dr. Venkateshwar Rao sir when my daughter is 1.5years old as she has developed squint after 1 year of birth. Also the squint was progressive, So we visited Shreya’s eye clinic for understanding my daughter condition. Sir is very friendly, very patient and explained clearly about the problem and the follow up plan. Eye checkup for infants and kids should be made mandatory like the regular vaccines in order to detect and treat eye related issues effectively in the early age.******* ************ *** **** ** *** **** **** **** ********** ** **** ****. He guides people effectively *** ******** ******** ********* **** ******** *** ************. The fee is affordable for everyone considering the fact that you visit the doctor once or twice a year for regular checkup. The whole checkup process will take around 45 mins to 1.5hrs (varies as per case) hence never think that you are waiting for long time to compete the checkup and walk out of the clinic.

My daughter had squint problem from age of 3rd during year 2003. I took her to LV Prasad Eye Hospital where Dr Venkateshwar Rao garu used to treat her being the specialist in pediatric ophthalmology. Later he had successfully performed squint surgery. I very much like and appreciate his way of treatment, and counseling is pleasant towards child patients, deal parents with clarity and confidence. He is very cool personality; as well their support staff too excellent. The services are excellent and the staff are kind and friendly. The doctor takes good care of my daughter's health and also friendly to speak with, at every appointment.
