Consulted Dr. N S Suresh (Pediatrician)
I do not recommend the doctor
I hoped for better Doctor friendliness, Explanation of the health issue, Treatment satisfaction, Value for money, Wait time
We are on the fence about giving this doctor a bad review on Practo. I've seen a lot of negative experiences.
We had to go for a follow-up visit exactly on the same day of the next week. We realized that the treatment date/service date won't excludes in the follow-up visit and we enforced by the front office/reception to get a new prescription. We just surprised the way the receptionist calculated the days. Post discussion with the receptionist, I had to go the doctor explained the same and I was told by the doctor to get a new prescription in order to get the treatment otherwise your wish if you want to get treated and in addition to that the doctor used couple of sentences which really hurt us and they are as follows ' We are not doing any service here and no need to get treatment here as you are not willing to renew the prescription’
I agree with the doctor and he may correct from his perspective but on the same row the terms and conditions like the validity of the prescription such that the total number of visits/max number of days was not mentioned on the prescription in addition to that there is no contact number mentioned on the prescription (Not even the landline number) to inquire if the doctors availability.
I also want to bring a point to your notice that the clinic won't accepts the digital payments for both consultation and the pharmacy and the patient won't get any transcription for the consultation fee paid unless the patient requests.
And coming to the appointment, there is no segregation between in the in-person appointment and the Practo appointment and all the way we need to enroll the name and wait for our turn.
It's not about the treatment it’s about the treatment with a human touch. It was our experience having association with the doctor for more than 2 years.
Finally, treating the patient with a human touch respect the level of trust
Dr. N S Suresh replied
I thank this reviewer for admitting to few facts though he was unhappy with me.I base my reply on the facts he has admitted. He was visiting for me for more than two years so I am sure he was happy with my services till his last visit. Also I am sure he knows that the validity of consultation fee is one week . His own words " We had to go for a follow-up visit exactly on the same day of the next week"-Its obvious that he knows the validity of the fee.The thing is he misinterpreted the meaning of a week. He came for the first visit on 25/11/2017. Second visit was on Saturday(2/12?2017) If we include both saturdays it becomes eight days. Does your week contain Eight days when you have to pay up?. He was happy with my services all these years and suddenly finds fault with almost everything I do-- just because he was not obliged for a fee waiver?
The very purpose of Practo for me is that the patient would know my availability without manual intervention. Practo ray also facilitates online follow up for small doubts. This gentleman seems to be using practo only to malign me.
We display the timings, fee particulars in our clinic as a matter of policy. We keep updating from time to time whenever there are changes.
We are accepting online transfers through current account and paytm from more than six months.
He says he was enforced to pay-- did he actually pay ? can a doctor force you to pay when you dont want to pay?
Finally he says something about human touch. When you can afford to pay but still don't want to pay , if I smile and say no problem sir--- is that what you mean by human touch?
