Canfel Pet Clinic, Punjagutta

Sometimes the treatment can be pricey a little higher than other clinics. Like for example if you have a indie dog, treatment at The Pet Clinic Banjara Hills is free not the case here. Every puppy i have had over the years have been treated under Dr. Praveen Kumars care and have lived and are living long and healthy lives. The doctor in my opinion is a honest and modest person who goes out of his way to help people and their furry friends. I remember in the year 2004 my Pomeranian snowy was chronically ill and even though it was the doctors holiday he called me to his place of residence and treated my pup.He in my opinion is a born leader and innovator with innovative ideas and treatment methods. He does not endorse or suggest the use of medicines and products that are not tested and proven or are harmful to pets,by such companies as i have seen him send such vendors and sales men out of his clinic* ****** *** **** **** ** *** ******* * *** * ***** ****** **** **** ***** * ****** ******* *** **** *** ********* * ********* **** ****** **** *** ** *** ****** ** * **** ** ********** **** ********* ** ************* *** *********** *** ******* ** ********* Dr. Praveen Kumar is extremely accurate and gets it right every single time. I am proud to say that he in my opinion is the best care you can get for your pet. I have and will recommend him to every him to every pet owner i know for dogs as you can go to the best or the rest in this doctors case. His clinic is clean and hygienic, the other doctors and helpers are friendly and polite except for the receptionist who is angry all the time and gets triggered for petty things, she always expects you to have exact change in your hands and gets angry and frustrated if you dont or if she has to reach for her purse. Overall the experience is good and worth the wait. The clinic can be full sometimes especially on the weekends but as are many because of people not finding time during the week and because the doctor is very good at what he does. Even then there is a shop next to his clinic where you can buy treats and toys for your pet as you wait. I have taken more than 5 pets to him over the years they have grown healthy and strong. My first pet lived 14 years despite his life expectancy being 12, this is all because of the doctor and his keen attention to detail and exceptional prognosis but this does not mean he did not have problems every old dog does, he couldn't move at the end . Dr. Praveen Kumar in my opinion is exceptionally gifted and talented i would like to thank him for his services over the years. I would like to recommend this doctor to everyone not only on practo but also to everyone in my close circles as i visit him from many years. Many of my friends and family members also visit him in regards to their pets. I am not boasting but speaking from 18 years of experience with this doctor who's former clinic was in Kranti Shikara Punjagutta.

Friendly behavior, Reasonable treatment cost, correct ********* *** suggestions. Avoiding extravaganza. Location convenience. Knowledge sharing. Affordable cost treatment

Took our 8 month old Golden Retriever to this clinic as he was beginning to slip meals. On the first day, we were sent back saying it was a general malaise. We went back again and asked for a blood report and it was reported that the dog had 6.8% hemoglobin. The treatment went on for two weeks until he passed away at the clinic in our hands in the most shocking and bizarre manner which has left a permanent scar in our lives.

All the doctor had to say was "bad luck" and carried on nonchalantly. This place is not meant for treatment but for general check-up. He hardly stops by for a minute and charges at least a grand and sometimes two-three grands. We had been getting the dog to this place since we brought him home, only to have this terrible experience.

We will never forgive ourselves for taking our lovely dog to this doctor. I wish the doctors these days are less commercial and more knowledgeable and not the reverse.

Be it humans or pets, the nature of the Doctor itself should cure half ways. And this is felt it the pet as well and not just the pet owner.

While it's slightly expensive however satisfaction of the treatment is guaranteed. Highly recommend

very expensive. if money is not an issue, and also for critical care, i could prefer Dr Praveen. but not for routine health issues.
