I initially visited the hospital because of a pus discharge from my ear. The doctor clearly explained my condition by showing it to me on a monitor. He detailed how my Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS) and mild sinus problems had damaged my mastoid cells, creating a small hole in my eardrum that caused the discharge.
Following the diagnosis, he performed a Septoplasty, followed by a Tympanoplasty-Mastoidectomy with a one-month gap between the procedures. Before the surgeries, I was terrified that I would permanently lose hearing in that ear and have to live with the constant pain. However, it has now been two years since the surgeries, and my hearing is excellent. Additionally, I am able to breathe much more easily. I am so happy with the results.
