Visited Dr. Salil Jain (Nephrologist/Renal Specialist)
Dr Salil Jain and his team in fortis ( Dr Yogesh , Dr Varun, Dr Tapeshwar, Dr Teja, Dr Aryan) are a shining example of who a doctor should be * ** **** ****** ***** ** ********* ***** ******* **** **** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ** * ********** ***** ***** *** **** ***** ***** * here comes Dr Salil and his team as a knight in shining armour: He and his team are surely a superhero who wear no capes 🙏🏻❤️
Dr Salil Jain has been treating my mom for more than 2 Months now for vasculitis and associated kidney complications and I must say I haven’t seen a western medicine doctor who cares so deeply for his patients and their well being. Under his able leadership, he has ensured his team also follows his path and they are all as compassionate, involved and warm to their patients and their families.
I saw Dr Salil doing immense things in a short span of 2 months which just brings blessings to me for him.
Some examples but there are many more
- helping us arrange for food by calling people
In dialysis unit to ensure my old mom doesn’t go hungry while we wait to move to ICU. He called multiple people to ensure it is taken care
- when I m clueless and not sure what’s happening in ICU ; he doing a video call to show my mum has woken up. This was a v big deal for us as once the patient is in ICU it’s a black box ans Dr Salil Jain , the guardian Angel for us to ensured we see my mum’s progress
- and recently again we had to admit my mom again in IcU after 15 days of leaving hospitals and while he did a video call to show us and make her get her out of her altered sensorium ; I saw him doing touch therapy by caressing her forehead with so much care , compassion and warmth to comfort her. This brought tears to my eyes as I have never seen a western medicine doctor using touch therapy so beautifully
- also the way Dr Salil ans his entire team explains the plan of action and line of treatment ; it’s simply phenomenal as it gives huge comfort to family as to where are we headed .. they all take pain to explain and answer innumerable queries we have and never hesitate or hurry one bit
I have many many more examples where Dr Salil ans his team went out of the way to ensure their patients and their families well being. We just have blessings and blessings for all of them . Just blessings specially for the heart of gold Dr Salil is still carrying despite of being in the medicine world for so long.
Dr Salil : I pray and hope your golden healing touch touches many lives who need your healing. God bless you again and your team ❤️🙏🏻

Visited Dr. Subhash Jangid (Orthopedic surgeon) For Hip Replacement
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueValue for moneyWait time
My name is Bill Smith _ Full name -William James Foster Smith, and I come from Cork , in the republic of Ireland( A member State of the European Union), to differentiate between my neighbors in Northern Ireland ( Still under British rule ) - however it would me remiss of me not to mention that I am actually a funny mixture being 15% 'English,' and 85% Irish, so I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Subhash to any of my own Countries Ladies and gentlemen, or indeed any of my British neighbors, or indeed any of my fellow European Citizen's .
Dr Subhash immediately put me at ease as I requested that he call me Bill rather than William.
I came to India with Lyfboat.com headed up by CEO Dr Surbhi Suden , and as we had literally just met , she also put me at ease , and assured me that I was in the right place.
After the meeting , she said right now Bill 'you look like an old man compared to the Youthful Dr Subhash, however when you get your left hip replacement you will regain your youthful looks!
Dr Surbash said the right hip replacement I had done in Ireland, 12 years previously was an excellent job, however after I pressed him - he very diplomatically said perhaps a little old fashioned.
At this point I gave a full disclosure on my other 'Ailments' _ type 2 diabetes, and the dreaded Mental health disorder 'Bipolar 1'
Dr Subhash was very sympathetic to my situation.
I decided that I didn't want to proceed with any surgery until I felt completely stable - Now thanks to the support of some amazing people, I am more than ready and I have decided to get my full left hip replacement on Thursday 28th March, followed by a revision to my right hip on Thursday 25th April 2024( Provided that Dr Subhash isn't on holiday!).
My experience to date has been fantastic, and Lyfboat.com are a God send.
Shri Jaspal is fantastic, and he organised all my tests - Blood, Xrays, Ultrasounds and a test involving 4 different fluids pumped through my body to check my heart rate, and I'm happy to say I'm as healthy as a Horse!
My first point of Contact with Lyfboat .com was with Dr Suneet Singh, and all I can say is that she is the sweetest, most kind hearted ladies I have ever come to know. It will be a sad day for me on 27th May next when I must fly back home_ I love Ireland as it's people are very warm and Giving, but I also Love India, something tells me that I'll be back!
Finally, the cost back home for both procedures - full replacement and revision - with physiotherapy etc would be €34,700
whereas in India including flights living expenses etc it comes in at €21,650, and you get to spend time in one of the worlds most beautiful Countries full of ,In my experience, the most Heart Warming people.
Warm Regards,
Bill Smith _ Jai Shree Ram

Hoped for better: Doctor friendlinessTreatment satisfactionValue for money
My daughter is 4 month old and I wanted take up vaccination packages available at Fortis. When I called the hospital I was told to come in person and discuss the options with available paediatrician. On reaching the hospital I was directed to Dr. Neetu Talwar.
Dr.Talwar started pitching me a package of Rs. 48,000 for 2 year and was ready to offer a discount of 3000 on the package for the vaccine which my daughter had already taken. I asked her many times what is the difference between the Rs. 22000 and Rs. 48000 she kept saying the quality and the side effects. As soon as I confirmed her that I will go for 22000 package her attitude changed ....from politely explaining me the benefits *** ******** ** ******* ******* ***** ************* ****** **** **** *************** *** **** **** *** ** ****** ** ******* **** ******** ***** **** ******* **** ***** ****** ******* ** *** **** **** *** **** ****** ** ****** ******************* **** ** **** ***** ******* **** **** **.this lasted for around 20 mins.
I took 10 mins time from her to discuss the same with husband and we still decided to go for Rs. 22000 package.
I again went to her and informed her of my choice. She fed the data in her system and in the meantime nurse was ready with the injections. As a mother I had few concerns about my child which I wanted to discuss with Dr. Talwar *** *** *** ** ****** ********** ** *** **** ** ************* All she said was she had no time and would have to leave for some work. Don't know what came into her that she did not even explained post vaccination medication with me. Visited Dr. Biplab Das (Neurologist)
It all started on 23rd Aug,19 when I felt numbness both in my hands and feet area and was having difficulty in walking for the first time. I stay at Yamunanagar near Ambala. The family decided to take consultation at Fortis hospital Gurugaon and visited the hospital on 28th Aug. We met Dr Biplob Das who after asking some questions and examination diagnosed the disease as GBS. We were very scared to know about this disease when we search about it on Google. However Dr Biplob Das assured that I would be all right in a few months and recovery would be quick as we have reached hospital in time. This was followed by a week long stay at hospital after which I was discharged. Regular physio therapy sessions continued thereafter at Gurgaon with prescribed medicines. During about 4 month stay at Gurgaon we remained in continuous touch with Dr Biplob Das through OPD or phone calls and always found him very kind, polite, empathetic, passionate and reassuring. He is a thorough gentleman and great human being. His caring and gracious behaviour was visible during tele consultation sessions which started of late.
My health is improved a lot and I have started doing household chores gradually. With every passing day my health is going better. I consider that it is all because of Dr Biplob Das and his team. I wish to place on record my gratitude and thanks to Dr Das for taking care and being so kind *** ******* ** **** ** ******I wish him a bright career and continued service to suffering mankind.
My deepest thanks Dr Biplob Das.
