Visited Dr. Priya Tiwari (Medical Oncologist)
Cancer diagnosis comes with its own set of physical, mental and societal issues. More so, when such unsettling news befalls upon us during rigid lockdowns and pandemic related restrictions. My mother, Mrs Leela Vati’s first diagnosis for CA-Ovary came in July 2020, during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic at an advanced stage of the disease. This was the time when most doctors that I approached were apprehensive due to her progress of the disease and prevailing uncertainty of pandemic related protocols. Exasperated and troubled, I kept running from pillar to pillar for a glimmer of hope. It was at this time that I was referred to Dr Priya Tiwari at Artemis Hospital Gurugram by someone who has had a great experience with her treatment in the past.
At the very outset we were greeted by her coordinator and guided so well about all the procedures and protocols to be followed. Immediately thereafter we were introduced to Dr Priya whose warm smile, welcoming attitude and confidence calmed us straightaway. She seemed very organized and systematic in her work and approach. Her medicines and pep talks have done wonders for my mother’s health and wellbeing. She has responded very well to Dr Priya’s treatment and is still undergoing her chemotherapy post-surgery. Her general health is a lot better than what it was when we first contacted Dr Priya, which augurs well for my mother’s future health and says a lot about our doctor’s expertise.
Dr Priya is very professional with a personal touch and caring demeanor for all her patients. She has a great sense of humor too, which lightens up any tense situation. She listens to all the queries of her patients and their attendants with patience and offers solutions for not only their medical problems but also cheers them up with her articulate and eloquent talk. This motivates us to interact with her freely and discuss any issues that we have. She provides a holistic treatment regimen that includes medicines, lifestyle modifications, care routines, dietary suggestions, mental conditioning, etc. She keeps herself updated with all the latest research in the field of Oncology and is a widely published and cited researcher as well. She is quite active on various social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc. where she regularly posts videos and other educational content regarding cancer symptoms, treatment strategies, latest research in this field, etc. for the benefit of the general masses and awareness creation.
A special mention must also be made for her team of junior doctors and support staff who are very well trained and polite in their attitude. They are always available personally, on call or via messaging to sort out any issues that we may be facing. I guess this rubs off from their brilliant team leader Dr Priya’s personality herself.
Dr Priya has all the traits of a great doctor like deep subject knowledge about her field, reassuring personality, clear and concise communication, availability for her patients, etc. In my opinion, she is the best doctor that I have come across, apart from being such a great human being.
It has been almost 3 years now and my mother is responding well to Dr Priya’s treatment. I will forever be grateful to Dr Priya and her team for everything that they have done for my mother. I wish her and her entire staff, all the very best for all their future endeavors.
Visited Dr. Shashidhar TB (ENT/ Otorhinolaryngologist) For AirwayTracheostomy
Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for moneyWait time
Dr. Sashidhar TB is a truly remarkable doctor in our country, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have benefited from his expertise when my nephew, Harshit Verma, faced a life-threatening condition. We hails from Saharsa, Bihar. At just two months old, he struggled to breathe due to lymphangiomas (Lymphatic malformations) in his neck that were putting pressure on his airway. After almost 45 tense days of being intubated and requiring oxygen support in Patna, doctors performed a tracheostomy and advised us to seek advanced treatment.
Seeking options, we turned to AIIMS Delhi , Sir Gangaram Hospital and Medanta Gurgaon, where we received disheartening news about the complexity of treating such cases. In our moment of desperation, we finally found hope in Dr. Shashidhar TB at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon. He listened to our problem with compassion and assured us he would do everything possible to heal our child.
Dr. Shashidhar TB and his team (Dr. Dilpreet Bajwa, Dr. Trisha Srivastava, and Dr. Varsha and other doctors his team) developed a comprehensive treatment plan involving multiple MLB and surgeries. Their dedication was evident as they meticulously planned each step towards recovery. Finally, after several procedures, the tracheostomy tube was removed, and the lymphangiomas were almost completely treated. Our nephew began breathing normally again.
Dr. Sashidhar TB's care and expertise were a lifeline for us during this challenging time. He not only treated our nephew's condition but also restored our hope for a brighter future. We are deeply grateful to him and his team for their skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Their efforts truly transformed our despair into relief and gratitude.
In conclusion, we simply want to express our profound gratitude for Dr. Shashidhar. Many top doctors in the country had declined the case, yet Dr. Shashidhar not only accepted it but also viewed it as a challenge and successfully resolved it with care and expertise. His decision to take on this challenge and achieve such a positive outcome has been truly life-changing for us.
Visited Dr. Mriganka Sekhar Sharma (General Surgeon)
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Mriganka during the surgeries for my family members. We consulted him for gall bladder surgery for my wife, sister, and sister-in-law, as well as for a fistula surgery for my father. From the very beginning, Dr. Mriganka proved to be an outstanding general surgeon who not only met but exceeded our expectations.
Dr. Mriganka's professionalism, expertise, and compassionate approach made the entire surgical experience smooth and stress-free. His ability to explain complex medical procedures in a way that was easy to understand reassured us and helped alleviate any anxieties we had. He took the time to address all our concerns and patiently answered every question, making us feel involved in the decision-making process.
What truly sets Dr. Mriganka apart is his unwavering commitment to his patients. He has become more than just a surgeon to us; he is like a family doctor, always ready to assist, regardless of the hour. We've experienced his dedication firsthand, with prompt responses during emergencies, be it in the middle of the night or during the day. Dr. Mriganka's availability and responsiveness have been nothing short of a lifeline for our family, providing reassurance and comfort when we needed it most.
The surgeries themselves were executed with precision and care, showcasing Dr. Mriganka's expertise in the field. Post-operative care was equally remarkable, with thorough follow-ups and a genuine interest in our recovery. His kindness and empathy shone through during every interaction, turning what could have been daunting experiences into manageable journeys towards healing.
In addition to his medical proficiency, Dr. Mriganka's kindness and empathetic nature make him a standout healthcare professional. He genuinely cares for his patients and goes the extra mile to ensure their well-being.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mriganka to anyone in need of general surgery. Choosing him as our family doctor was one of the best decisions we made, and I am confident that others will find his services to be equally outstanding. Dr. Mriganka is not just a skilled surgeon; he is a compassionate and caring individual who makes a positive impact on the lives of those he serves.

Took my 82 yr old grandmother for chronic diarrhea to Artemis hospital. Did numerous tests *** ***** *** **** *** *** ***** *** suggested a Pet scan without any regard about the extremely weak condition of the patient. We decided to take her home. Since she refused to accept any food or even water we admitted her again to the hospital. The doctor arrogantly asked us to get the test done as if it was the only way to save the patient. Her symptoms were clearly of 4th stage ovarian cancer and no treatment could possibly help her recover. She still insisted on the test and got it done by giving her a sedative. Her body that was already so weak could not handle the drug. She was administered oxygen for six hours. No nurse correctly monitered her oxygen supply and when we complained about it a nurse straight up smiled at my face and went ahead to chat with another employ. Her conditioned worsened and she was rushed to ICU. After a day we were asked to take her home since nothing could be done. She was in a terrible state in the ICU. Since my grandmother was on the last stage of cancer she did not have long to live but they made her end miserable with hard tests and drugs. *** ****** ***** ********** *** ******* ******** ** ***** **** ** *** **** ******* ********* **** *** ***** **** **********
