I want to report a pathetic experience I have had while my interaction with CK Birla's Dr Kuldeep and his assistant/coordinator Sunil Sharma.
I had consulted Dr Kuldeep on Thursday (11th August) for my mother's biopsy procedure after recommendation by my nephrologist Dr Mohit Khimbat.
Initially I was told that the procedure will take place the next day as it is critical for the diagnosis of my mother's condition. As per both the doctors, without this test the medicines cannot be prescribed /administered.
As directed by Dr Kuldeep, I was coordinating with Mr Sunil to schedule the biopsy procedure which is usually an OPD procedure although Dr Kuldeep wanted to admit my mother for 1 day. Mr Sunil kept on telling me that he will finalize my date of admission every day I spoke to him for the next 3 days.
On Monday (which was finally promised to me as the day when I had to admit my mother at the hospital), I am being told that they are having some technical trouble with the machine and will not be able to perform the procedure for "atleast" another week.
Despite my frequent visits and communications with both Dr Kuldeep and Mr Sunil, I fail to understand why I was given this information at the very last minute/ after wasting 4 precious treatment days of my ailing mother?
I feel deceited by Dr Kuldeep and Mr Sunil and this clearly sounds like a last minute excuse to me. I would request that the administration of the hospital should urgently look into this matter and ask the doctor why such petty excuses are given to patients who ask for their immediate attention.
