Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh

After visiting many clinics in gurgaon and NCR, I decided to get my cataract operated by Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, and now I am so happy that I did so. On the first visit he examined my eyes thoroughly and explained the risks involved in the surgery because I had also history of eye trauma. He told all pros and cons, and discussed everything in so lucid and friendly manner, that we decided for the surgery by him. The surgery was extremely comfortable, without even an injection. It took hardly 15 minutes, after which he patched my eyes for 2 hours. After opening the patch, my vision was already much clearer than before, which improved to absolute clear vision in 2-3 days. Even after surgery, I regularly receive the calls for follow-ups which is really very caring of them.

Now I am planning for my second eye surgery with him.

Dr. Ajay is an excellent eye doctor. He is very friendly, humble *** ************* person. His approach is unlike most of the corporate hospitals in Gurgaon, which act more in the interest of hospital than that of the patient. He explained the issue in such detail yet in so simple words that made me confident that I am at the right place. My mother is suffering from Glaucoma. She is on medications for many years. Even then her vision is deteriorating and she was not satisfied with the medicines. I consulted Dr. Ajay after taking opinions from few other renowned eye doctors. I had developed cataract in both eyes after using steroid eye drops for allergy for many years, and everyone was doubtful about my eyes as they suspected that I may have glaucoma too. When I met Dr. Ajay, he discussed everything in great details. How I developed cataract, how it could have been avoided, what may be future complications. When I was fully satisfied, then I decided to undergo surgery by him. And that was the best decision I made. My vision improved from almost zero to 6/6 in less that 24 hours. She was initially very apprehensive about the surgery, but with the friendly behavior and simple explanation of the procedure by Dr. Ajay made all her worries vanish. The surgery took no more than 10 minutes in total. He did not even give her any injection for anesthesia, still she did not have any pain or discomfort. Her vision became almost perfect after the procedure and now she is more than happy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ajay for eye problems especially Cataract Surgery.

** **** ** *** ** *** **** **************** **** * **** My daughter is high myopic (-16) and several doctors told me that she is unfit to undergo ICL procedure due to insufficient AD depth which was shown in the lab reports. Upon physical examination, he advised us to redo the test & he did it himself (did not delegate it to the Optometrist) to check the reading & we found by surprise that the earlier lab report was inaccurate & had sufficient margin to fit the lenses. I agreed to complete the procedure and have scheduled for ICL next week. It was like a divine intervention for me. Hats off to him.
