Visited Dr. Neeraj Sanduja (Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon) For Retinal Problems
Happy with: Explanation of the health issue
While the doctor is really good, the management of the clinic is really bad. I had gone with my mother today for her appointment which was scheduled at 12 noon. we reached at 11:50 and we were informed that we will have to wait for about 45 minutes to an hour as the doctor is in a surgery. This is not the first time this has happened with us. Our last visit, which was also the first time we were consulting Dr. Sanduja, we were told we will have to wait for about 45-50 minutes before we actually get to see the doctor. When we raised an objection and made some noise, they let us see the doctor early but this is really no way. If the doctor is in a surgery, isn't it the duty of the clinic to inform the patients who are coming in for an appointment? Do the patients and the people accompanying them have no work or meetings that they have adjusted keeping the appointment timings in mind? This level of unprofessionalism is really disappointing.

Happy with: Treatment satisfaction
I went there for my daughter's eye injury. My 8year old daughter had pain in her eye and was reluctant to put eye drops in the beginning to which the impatient doctor replied that we have ways to put the eye drops forcibly too. Will you expect a doctor to behave like that? A crying child needs assurance and not such an arrogant behaviour by the doctor.
Second thing, we had to go twice for followup. So, the first followup was free ( the next day after consulting) but the second follow up which was the next day, we were asked to pay the full consultation fee of 1000 Rs again. Why so? Very weird system. The other doctors I have visited so far always have a followup fee which is less than the consultation but here you would be asked to pay the entire consultation fee again for followup too. This highlights the focus area of the entire clinic.

Doctor works at Viaan Eye centre. Though Dr is highly qualified, the staff who actually does eye checkup for the lenses ** ********* ** ****** *** ***** ***** ******. I had complaints of eye strain for which I visited the center first time. My eyes were tested and I was told my lense number hasn't changed and the glasses I am wearing do not need a new lenses.
Two weeks later I again went there because I was still keeping eye strain. This time a different staff, * ******** ********, tested my eyes, she told me sir you number has reduced by 0.75. She prescribed me that number.
I went ahead and got my new specs and pair of glasses as per latest prescribed number. However a week l still I wasn't satisfied with my new lenses for the prescribed number. **** **** * **** ** * ********* ****** *** *** ***** *** ***** * **** **** **** ** ** *** ******* **** ** **** *** *** ** ****.
I wasted 4K on lenses and I have to buy new lenses worth 4K again.

We were charged for the services we didnt take. On arrival,We specifically told that we were there for surgery and not check up as I have had multiple checks before.
