I got to know about Dr. Shilpi from a friend who went for the fitting of braces to her clinic. I was having pain in my gum tooth for 2 days. My friend recommended Dr. Shilpi based from her past experience. I must say that she is a very experienced doctor.

I went to the Basil clinic and told my problem to Dr. Shilpi. She listened to it very calmly and suggested to me the needed treatment. I was skeptical about having dental filling but she explained the procedure and its pros very nicely. Her friendly nature helped me to go through the procedure very patiently.

My overall experience was really good. I would recommend her highly.

Even though I have been visiting hospitals and doctors almost every month, however, I always had a sense of fear when it comes to dental structure. I walked into the clinic with the same feeling but doctor’s friendliness approach, detailed explanation helped me overcome the anxiety. A super clean hand mixed with latest tech and equipments made the entire process seamless. No pain, no discomfort at all, may be coz I followed her advice bit more than actually I normally do :-). I had a missing lower molar for nearly three years. I kept avoiding the implant route because everyone around me had horror stories — long procedures, painful recovery, expensive treatments that didn’t last. That consultation changed my mind completely.

Dr. Shilpi spent a good 20–25 minutes with me during the first visit. She looked at my X-rays, assessed the bone density, and was completely honest — she told me the bone had resorbed a little over the years but that we could still proceed without a bone graft, which was a relief. She explained the full implant timeline, what each stage involves, approximately how long healing takes between the implant placement and the crown, and what the costs would be upfront. No hidden surprises later.

The implant placement itself was done under local anaesthesia and was far less dramatic than I had imagined. There was some soreness for two to three days after, completely manageable with the medication she prescribed. The healing period went smoothly and she monitored progress at each visit — never felt like I was being rushed through.

When the final crown was placed, the fit and bite felt completely natural. My wife didn’t even believe it was an implant when I told her — it looks exactly like a real tooth.

It’s been about eight months now and everything feels absolutely solid. No sensitivity, no issues. I genuinely wish I hadn’t waited three years.

Dr. Shilpi clearly has a specialist-level understanding of this procedure. She is calm, precise, and doesn’t oversell anything. The clinic is hygienic, the team is well-trained, and the overall experience was far better than I expected dental treatment to be.

Both Dr Shilpi and Dr Neelam are very talented doctors, I got several dental problems but I always wanted that there should be an expert hand treating me as I have a phobia of any one touchng my teeth. Both the doctorsa re very gentle and do the treatment making sure that the person under treatment is very comfortable.I got my post treatment followup from them after regular intervals. Would recommend them for root canals and crown treatments.

Dr. Shilpi is indeed a great dentist. I visited her for the dental cavities filling of my 5 year old son. I must say she is very quick and perfect in doing her job as it is complicated while dealing with a kid. She is transparent in communication n friendly by nature. I really appreciate her!! I will highly recommend Doctor Shilpi, I went for root canal and cavity filling.Being a very nervous patient she makes you at ease and explains you what she is doing and is very gentle .She is very professional, understanding, caring and a delight to visit .A very efficient and friendly service. Doctor is very particular about sanitisation, the entire clinic was sanitized and the precautions taken were really pleasing. Protection kits, masks, hand and shoe covers were provided at the clinic itself. The clinic is regularly deep cleaned. Must recommend basil dental as the process was very smooth and hygiene was on top priority.

Dr. Shilpi is very friendly while being professional. She explained the entire process of teeth straightening at every step including initial jaw expansion, use of retainers and brackets with timelines which makes it extremely easy to understand for a common man and builds trust in the doctor as its a long process spanning months. Overall a great experience.

Doctor very patiently treated my severe tooth pain, explain the procedure . She did my RCT with so much of ease that I didn't even realise when the procedure started and when did it end. She is the best dentist I have ever seen. The ambience of the clinic , the professional behaviour of staff and the absolutely painless and precise treatment by the doctor is is appreciable. I liked the way, she used to explain the complete process of treatment before starting the procedure. The time spent on the procedure was comparatively low.
