Her extensive work as medical officer-in-charge at Oswal group of industries, Bhiwadi and Military Hospital, Meerut gives her the expertise to distinguish between organic and psychiatric causes. She developed a keen interest in psychiatry while she was at Apollo Hospital (dept. of psychiatry), Sarita vihar. Her interest was transformed into passion for the subject once she was selected by University of Maryland (USA) as a clinical research associate. She has attained her Diploma in Psychiatric Medicine and later completed her MD in psychiatry. She has been working as a consultant psychiatrist at Holy Angels Hosptal, Vasant Vihar New Delhi.She started her stint as a consultant psychiatrist at Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital since 2014.
