Persistent yeast infection for 2 months after antibiotics with fluconazole failure suggests either a non-albicans Candida species (resistant to fluconazole) or an ongoing trigger. Non-albicans species like Candida glabrata need different antifungal treatment.

Get a high vaginal swab (HVS) with culture and sensitivity to identify the exact species. Switch to clotrimazole vaginal pessary (100mg) for 7 nights. Apply clotrimazole cream externally for burning. You need to do the following-
1. Vaginal suppository (candid+clotrimazole) for 3 consecutive nights
2. Miconazole ointment for local application twice daily for 7 days
3. Maintain local hygiene ( use cotton underwear , keep the area dry, avoid douching the area vigorously)
