No it is not normal to develop a yeast infection after medical abortion. I would advise you to visit the gynecologist so that you can be examined and undergo investigations such as HbA1c, CBC, etc to find the underlying cause and have i treated accordingly. You will require antifungal tablet, topical antifungal cream and an antihistamine. These following steps may help: - Do not wear tight clothing. - Change undergarments regularly - Wear breathable fabrics such as cotton to decrease the sweating. - Keep areas where there is sweat accumulation dry regularly and apply powder in those areas to reduce the moisture. - Maintain a high level of personal hygiene. If the problem persists or worsens visit the gynecologist at the earliest.
