Hello, I’ve gone through your X-ray, according to me it’s not a normal X-ray, your lower zones of both the lungs are hazy and mild effusion present, likely either infective origin(need to evaluate based upon your clinical correction), let’s consider a proper video consultation or audio consultation, so that i can evaluate your clinical diagnosis and prescribe the medications accordingly. Thankyou

X rays  show small opacities both lung fields, which could be just due to frequent exposure to dust or recurrent cold and cough. Small blood in cough could be simply due to local infection or inflammation. Now if cough is improving, continue the meds you are taking. Also do steam inhalation and hot saline gargles,  2 to 3 times daily.

The chest x ray picture is not seen clearly. Please upload a better quality one. Saying that if your symptoms are better, that is good. Most common reason for little streak of blood with cough is due to inflammation in the AirTubes in the lung. We call it bronchitis. This settles on its own usually. All the best. J G S R

Hello, I’ve carefully reviewed your concern and the X-ray images you uploaded. Based on the photos, there are no obvious red-flag findings like major lung opacities, cavity, consolidation, or fluid levels. The lung fields appear fairly clear for a bedside image. A few important points: 1. A single small streak of blood in cough during an acute cold is usually from airway irritation, especially when symptoms are recent. 2. The fact that the cough and blood streak have already stopped is reassuring. 3. X-ray taken early during a viral infection is often normal it doesn’t rule out infection, but it also doesn’t show any serious lung disease in your case. 4. If the blood in sputum repeats, becomes more frequent, or if you develop fever, chest pain, weight loss, or breathlessness, then further evaluation is required. Right now what you need is symptom-based management, identifying whether this is viral, allergic, or irritation-related and that requires checking your history, pattern of cough, exposures, and throat exam details. No medicines can be advised here without proper assessment. If you want a proper interpretation of the X-ray and a personalised plan, you can message me directly. Reach me on w.h.a.t.s.a.p.p nine three two six zero two zero five three six for a more detailed review.
