Wrist pain, unable to fold the fingers
It's about my mother, she has been facing issues with her wrist since she had injury more than a month before, we consulted a physician, no betterment. Met orthopaedic doctor prescribed pain killers and physiotherapy. Now the pain had come down. But she not having very much control over her fingers movement. I don't know whom to consult. Orthopaedic or neurologist. Pl suggest

Seems like Post traumatic reactive stiffness. She needs aggressive treatment under close care of orthopaedician and a physiotherapist. It takes upto 3 months to gain functional control of  finger  movements

Hello. I am sorry to hear about your mother. Pain & stiffness in hands & digits is very common after injuries and needs proper assessment & therapy.
