Consult your local ENT specialist for Video Laryngoscopy. If there’s a foreign body or injury or acute infection, everything will be visualized and treated accordingly.
A brief prick sensation while eating noodles followed by mild throat discomfort is almost certainly due to a small scratch on the throat lining from a hard noodle strand or a pre-existing throat irritation â not a swallowed foreign body. If you had actually swallowed something sharp, you would typically experience persistent severe pain, difficulty swallowing, drooling, or chest pain that does not ease. Mild throat discomfort that fades over a few hours is very reassuring and suggests no foreign body is lodged.
Next Steps
Eat soft foods and stay well hydrated for the next 24 hours. Warm salt water gargles can help soothe the throat. If pain worsens, you have difficulty swallowing, or feel something stuck that doesn't resolve by tomorrow, see an ENT doctor for an examination. It could be pharyngitis, which causes pain while swallowing or gulping food, water etc. Kindly visit a nearby doc for evaluation and management. Hope it helps
Swallowing anything sharp is dreadful
First- get a XRAY neck-, chest -AP view and later view
Then get abdomen Xray - AP view
If it’s a small* plastic with sharp ends, then there’s not much to worry about,
Take plenty of fluids
Watch for signs- vomiting, respiratory distress, pain abdomen
