Surfing net for medical issues can only complicate things and misguide you...even if you have seen, I am sure no net info would have given so much after effects for antibiotics...should be some misguided, half baked wassap msgs, u could have received...there are many people out there doing this as their prime job confusing and misguiding people in large... antibiotics are like powerful weapons, if correctly chose and given in a correct dose for the correct time, they can save a childs life...so we may even loose the child if you keep believing such things, doctors will never harm your child knowingly...so believe and trust human doctors rather than net and wassap msgs..I am telling this only for your welfare of your child and our society...

Where did you get all that information from??? It's all bullshit, except gut flora changes, which are ONLY till antibiotic continues. Small babies have very less immunity as compared to adults, and a small infection can become very serious rapidly. Do give either one of the meds mentioned by you,NOT both, and that too if child is very sick, and under medical supervision ONLY.

Antibiotic are given to treat infection Though antibiotics have there own side effect but infevtion are more dangerous therefore it is justificable to give antibiotics in infection. And there are not much after effect of these antibiotics everything becomes normal after stopping them with time
