Ciprofloxacin eye drops for newborn
I have given my newborn Ciprofloxacin eyedrop 3times a day..for one month...as my baby girl has watery eyes with white discharge..doctor told me to give it for one month...now I found on net it should be avoided in babies less than one year.. .I m worried as I gave Ciprofloxacin to my newborn for one month 3times a day..is it harmful for baby?

Should not use for more than a week, do tear duct massage daily, Nebracin eye drops 2 drops both eye 8 hourly x 7 days

Stop IMMEDIATELY!!. He has a blocked nasolachrymal duct,which will need eye massage,contact your paediatrician for detailed explanation on how to do it.
