My father, age 82 recently recovered from Covid Pneumonia , got discharged last week and is on oxygen support past one week (1-2litres) at home. His spo2 levels is between 91-92 with oxygen support . Since yesterday home care nurse has removed oxygen support. Post that his saturation level is between 88-91. Is it advisable to remove oxygen support suddenly or should it be gradually?
I have pulmonologist follow up pending in 2 days, but the nurses are not much keen to connect back the oxygen. Please suggest
