Yes wisdom tooth are painful. Actually they come by age 30 years but sometimes they due to insufficient space cannot come out like other tooth at same level. This creates the flap to grow out and due to food lodgement infection and inflammation of the flap occurs.

Sir if near by you any dental clinic is their plz go for x ray if your tooth is coming straight/correct position then for now you can have antibiotic and pain killer for 3 days and do luek warm water gargling with salt but if its position is not correct plz get it removed as soon as possible
