Wisdom tooth stitches
It's been more than 5 months that I extracted my lower right wisdom tooth. The doctor then stitched the area with Silk thread and gave multivitamins to heal. Later after a week I again visited him, but the area hadn't recovered. I haven't yet gone to the doctor after that, the stitch is still present in my gums for 5 months. Will it cause any issue? Please be frank. Thank you.

You must get the stitch removed as soon as possible. It will become an area where food and bacteria accumulate and can lead to infection. Please visit a dentist to get the suture removed
