Hie.. that’s totally normal that you will feel heavy on that side .. since there is secondary healing going on.. plus exudate formation... so u just need to do warm saline rinses focusing on that side for atleast 2-3 times a day,. The feeling of heaviness will take around total time of a month .. DO NOT WORRY

Wisdom tooth if removed surgically then they do take more time to heal properly. So wait for a week or two. If still problem persist then you can consult doctor online or offline for better guidance and treatment options.
Warm saline water rinses two to three times a day, if you feel swelling over face just apply ice pack on that side of face.
hello maam, since there was swelling it will take more time then normal to heal. Also try to open your mouth in your normal range to make that musces lose or else they will become stiff and will result in difficulty to open mouth.Do take yourmedicines.
Hi.. usually it can take up to two weeks to recover after the removal of wisdom tooth. After that gradually your extraction site will be healed over.
But if any pain persists even after that please consult your dentist.
Health Tips
Warm water rinses can be done twice a day to keep the extraction site clean.
Hello mam,
Hope you are doing good. Dont worry everything will be alright within a week. And please do maintain your oral hygiene by gargling after your meals with warm salt water until it heals completely.
Hi,
Thank you for the query.
Wisdom tooth surgeries do take a bit of time to heal. Depending on the amount of infection present at the time of surgery, this could delay healing. However, different people have different healing capacity, so the range of 7-10 days is a range but doesnt necessarily be the same for everyone.
With regards to the swelling, if there was considerable amount of bone removed during the surgery, the swelling will take a little more time to resolve.
All in all, there is nothing to worry. Just need to be giving yourself time to heal.
